AIIWA Foundation (“AIIWA”, “we”, “us”) is a not-for-profit organisation registered in India. We are the data fiduciary responsible for personal data collected through this website and our programmes.

We collect only what we need to run our programmes and respond to you.
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number and organisation, when you register interest or contact us.
- Programme information: education, skills, work history and project work, if you apply to or take part in a programme.
- Partner information: names, roles and business contact details of people at companies and foundations we work with.
- Website data: basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics.
3. How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and partnership requests.
- To assess applications and run programmes.
- To connect participants with employers, mentors and projects, with their consent.
- To measure and report programme outcomes, in aggregated form.
- To improve this website and our communications.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and reporting obligations, including CSR reporting to partners.
4. Legal basis
We process personal data with your consent, or where it is necessary for a legitimate purpose permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only:
- With employers and industry partners, when a participant has agreed to be introduced.
- With funding partners, as aggregated or anonymised outcome reports.
- With service providers who host, store or process data on our behalf, under written agreements.
- Where required by law or a lawful request from a public authority.
6. Storage and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, update and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise your rights, and to raise a grievance. To exercise any of these, write to the contact below. We will respond within the time required by law.
8. Children
Our programmes are designed for students, graduates and early-career adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.
